Anonymous asked: Is it okay to eat free range eggs? Are those chickens treated much better?
NO it is not okay, they aren’t treated better at all! Free range just means that the chickens have access to outdoors, even though the “outdoors” could just be some concrete, and the “access” could be a door smaller than the size of a sheet of paper that none of the birds will even come across. Free range egg farms (even organic) are usually just a warehouse with like 20,000 chickens all crowded together barely able to move, with one single exit in a corner that none of them will ever find.
Here’s an example of what they may look like:
Unless you know exactly where the eggs come from, don’t assume they are treated better. Not trying to call anyone out, but just saying. I used to live next door to a farmer and he’d offer me eggs. So I took them cause I saw his actions and how he treated them.
So, a robbery video has been released. That’s supposed to give the police a motive, right? Not when the convenience store didn’t file a report or call the PD. Not to mention there is a video of Mike Brown buying the cigarillos. Wonder why no one released that to CNN or MSNBC.
But here’s the thing. Does that justify getting gunned down? When I was 17, I stole a tank top. Does that mean I deserve to be shot 6 times?
I get it, the police are trying to cover their asses. Deny, deny, deny. But it’s time to own up. The second autopsy has confirmed that Mike Brown was shot at least 6 times. That in itself is enough to press charges against the officer.
